There is nothing in Pakistan, why we are living in this country, this country has given us nothing and we should not live here… these are some of the most common phrases which you will see people saying all the time especially youth. Pakistan’ youth is so mush frustrated with the situation and un-employment is the main root of all these problems.
Un-employment is major economic and social problem of Pakistan, people are willing to work hard to make their livings but there are no resources, people are unable find jobs in Pakistan. Let’s see the causes of these problems.
Major Causes of Unemployment:
The major cause of employment is high growth rate of population in our country. People should consider that we are living in a country where we have limited resources and high population rate and our population has exceeded the optimum level already.
Our educational system is also guilty of increasing unemployment rate in country. Lahore is a big city and has the best institutions but still it is not helping youth to make their career as our education system is not up to date as well as rapid mechanization and computer technology is building a gap between education and career development.
The government is not doing an effort to create employment in the country and people are having difficulty in finding jobs in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi etc supposedly big cities of Pakistan.
Basically government is unable to provide resources like water, electricity and gas etc which is a major cause why we don’t have job vacancies in Pakistan.
People who have Bachelor or even Masters degrees are not getting any suitable jobs because there are no opportunities and nepotism is at peak, if any company have some vacancies people who are already employees of that company provide their friends and family resume for that and many people lost the opportunity in this manner.
Solution
Let’s see how we can eradicate or diminish the unemployment:
Government has to understand their duties and must fulfill them; they should provide resources so that industries can flourish and help the country to prosper. Economic revival package should be announced by the government so that it stimulates production and investments. It will encourage other countries to invest too.
Education system should be improved and has the syllabus which helps students to grow in the market and give them professional experience so they can match with the business requirements and able to work worldwide. If education system will work correctly then unemployment can be eradicated easily as it will create jobs in Karachi, Lahore etc and people can work and teach as well.
Technical training should be provided so that people who are not educated enough or people who don’t have jobs in Pakistan they can learn some skills so that they can work and earn some reasonable income.
People should be motivated their selves so that they can make their way and survive the unemployment.
Government should try to boost the tax and lowering tariffs to increase the export as foreign investment can help and create jobs for peoples in the country
