DU admissions: Good news. Economics, English still open at Hindu, LSR

New Delhi: Still looking for admission to Delhi University? Here is some good news. There are seats available at top colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, Ramjas and Lady Shri Ram for courses like Economics and English.

The university has released a third cut-off list that brings down the required percentage by a fraction. So, a 96.25% will get you admission to study Commerce at the prestigious Hindu College. And if you managed a few more marks - 96.5% -  you can enroll in the Economics course.

The cut-off for English in Hindu has seen a big drop - 96.5% to 93.5%.

At Hansraj College too, you can study Economics if you have 96.5%.

Lady Sri Ram or LSR in south Delhi has seats open in the Economics, English and History courses, and has effected a minor drop in marks needed in its third list.

With seats going fast, Commerce courses are still open in 31 of Delhi University's 55 colleges offering the course, Economics in 30 and English in 25.
