Mardan, The annual exams result of BA and BSc part 1 and 2 for the session 2013 has been declared by Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. According to the declared notification of controller of examinations of the university as many as 27,048 candidates took the exams and 10,164 of them successfully pass the exam by making pass percentage of 38 percent. Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan has a great historical worth by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The area contains a great importance because of its well-known civilization which was the cause of a civilized tradition but with the passage of time these traditions get down and lost their charm. The establishment of AWKU was the initiative to get back these traditions with the use of intellectual resources and adjoin the dazzling culture. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali is the administrator of AWKUM and making efforts to promote higher education through this university. There are all the modern departments, instruction of basic sciences, social and applied sciences by providing quality education and research to students to achieve the set goals of education. Students belonging from the areas such as Swabi, Charsadda, Nowsehra, Mardan, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Dir, Chitral, Northern Punjab, Kohat, Southern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa come to get education at the university. The university is transferring educational services with the aim to set the institute among the top ranking universities of Pakistan.
