The University of the Punjab (PU) is established in 1882 at Lahore which is the largest and the oldest university in Pakistan for higher education. Punjab University was established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two Nobel winner scholars were associated with the prestigious University of Punjab which shows its academic and research excellence.
