The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) was established in 1975 after up gradation of Jamia Abbasia. Islamia University of Bahawalpur had ten disciplines in the beginning and now they increased to 45 offering 74 disciplines. Education is being delivered not only in Religious Affairs, Languages, Social and Basic Sciences; but also in the areas of Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Computer, Law, Education, Fine Arts, Pharmacy, Life Sciences and Sports Sciences. IUB results depict the university is trying best to elevate quality education and research work. To make facilitate the students of remote areas, two campuses of University of Bahawalpur were founded at Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar in 2005. In the beginning, Departments of Management Sciences and Computer Science & Information Technology were set up for which IUB result was very impressive. Bahawalpur university results for different disciplines are declared at specific time to avoid any complication to the students.
