Exam System for MBBS Changed in Chittagong

After 55 years, the exam system of MBBS has been changed at Chittagong. Earlier, the answer sheets of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) exam were verified in regular way. But from this year, the answer sheets of MCQ will be verified by OMR (Optically Mark Recognition). 

Moreover, practical exam of OSPE (Objective Structured Practical Examination) & OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) part’s SAQ (Short Answer Question) answer sheets of the written exam and some professional exams answer sheets of MBBS will also be verified by coding. 

Moreover, a neutral observation team is working to maintain the quality of exam. 

Already steps have been taken by Chittagong University (CU) authority to organize the MBBS professional and final exam according to the BMDC (Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council) curriculum 2012. There are 9 public and private medical colleges of Chittagong, Comilla, Noakhali & Cox’s Bazar under CU. From July 1, MBBS 1st, 2nd and final exam has begun on those colleges.
