The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will declare the result for Class 10th examination that was conducted from 12 March 2013 to 26 March 2013.
Students can check their result by entering their roll number in the box provided. They can henceforth download the copy of their provisional mark sheet as the original mark sheet will be provided by the board and can be collected from the respective schools by the candidates.
Candidates should note that the PSEB 10th Class result for the year 2012 was declared on 12 June 2012. Hence, the result is expected around the same time this year. In 2012, a total of 388136 students appeared for the Matric (Class 10th) examination of which 285254 candidates were declared successful bringing the overall pass percentage to 73.49%.
The exams are conducted in the following 23 districts of Punjab which includes Amritsar, Bathinda, Barnala, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Mansa, Moga, Shri Muktsar Sahib, SBS Nagar, Pathankot, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, Tarantaran, Chandigarh & other State and Kapurthala.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) came into existence in Chandigarh in 1969 and is currently governed by a full time Chairman who reports to the Secretary of School Education in the Government of Punjab. The board was established to manage the curriculum taught in public schools along with conducting standardized examinations, teacher training, administration of scholarships, and publishing of textbooks.
