Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu were established in year 1990 as before that the duty of the examination were of the Peshawar Board but then seeing the number of students increasing every year Peshawar board is divided into sub part and hence Bannu board came into being. Bannu Board is now the only authoritative body to conduct and maintain the annual examination of the matric class as well as the Intermediate class too from the Bannu and its Jurisdiction.
