Owing to intensity more in the candidature, 2 more Boards were recognize at Multan and Sargodha under West Pakistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education,(BISE) in 1968. As a result of further branches, Boards were also existed at Rawalpindi and Gujranwala. The action of the BISE, Lahore has been done through the Punjab BISE Act 1976 and now in the organization arrangement of the province, 8 Boards are functioning atdivision standard.
