The University of the Punjab (PU) is established in 1882 at Lahore which is the largest and the oldest university in Pakistan for higher education. Punjab University was established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two Nobel winner scholars were associated with the prestigious University of Punjab which shows its academic and research excellence. PU result depicts the quality of education, standard of research work being done in the University, is still the university first choice for the students intending to get higher education. The Punjab University has also set up Campus at Gujranwala comprising of four disciplines i.e. Business Administration, Commerce, Law and Information Technology. The University of the Punjab consists of 4 Campuses, 13 Faculties, 10 Constituent Colleges, over 63 Departments, Centers, Institutes, and more than 500 affiliated colleges.
