MARDAN: Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) on Monday of annual of BA, BSC 2013. Controller of of the university said that a total of 27,048 students appeared in the annualexamination for BA, BSC in which 10,164 were declared successful. He said that overall percentage of the results was 38 percent.
Safia Mehmood daughter of Mehmood Khan and student of Government Girls Degree College Sheikh Maltoon Town Mardan, Roll number 40290 secured 1st position by obtaining 467 marks, Waqar Ali Shah S/O Mehboob Anwar and student of Government Post Nowshera, Roll number 45080 obtained 2nd position by scoring 456 marks while Saeed Ullah Jan S/O Muhammad Jan, student of Government Post Graduate College Mardan, Roll number 43228 got 3rd position by obtaining 450 marks.
However, according to the university sources, all Colleges would be sent DMC’s, latest by September 10 besides DMC’s of all the private students would reach the following centers by September 11. Private men and women students of district Mardan could receive their DMC’s fro Office of Abdul Wali Khan University, Main Campus and Defence Girls College Malakand Chowk Mardan respectively.
Similarly, students belonging to district Nowshera could receive their DMC’s from Government PostGraduate College Nowshera and private students (women) of district Swabi could receive their DMC’s from Swabi Institute of Managements (SIMS) Jehangira Road Swabi and private students (men) could receive their DMC’s from Government Post Graduate College Swabi, the sources further added.
